The Agricultural University of Athens is one of Greece’s leading institutions in agricultural sciences, sustainability, and environmental research. The hotel is located directly in front of the famous Temple of Zeus and the National Garden. It sits beneath the Acropolis and is only a 2-minute walk from the new Acropolis Museum. Plaka (the Old Town) is just across the road. You can easily walk to all of these sites, and if you prefer to use public transportation, the Underground, Bus, and Tram stations are all next to the hotel.
Following a complete renovation, the Royal Olympic has been transformed into an art hotel -elegantly decorated and, more importantly, meticulously maintained in every detail. Special attention was given to creating a hotel that feels personal and is as environmentally friendly as possible.
HOW TO GET TO THERE:
If you are going to take the Metro you can get off at a metro stop called Kerameikos station and it’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the university campus.
Several public bus routes operated by OASA connect the airport to various parts of Athens. The most popular bus route for travelers is the X95, which runs from the airport to Syntagma Square in the city center. From there the Congress Venue is a 12 min walking distance. Also, the bus station which is next to the venue, its called Ebga (Εβγα).
